Barfield
Barfield School is a co-educational preparatory school set in 12 glorious acres of Surrey woodland just outside the market town of Farnham.
Upon entering the school, you will find a unique family feel, where the children’s happiness and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. It is rare that a school feels equally confident in its academic standards and pastoral care but for the children at Barfield this is a reality.
Children experience a stimulating curriculum complemented by the opportunities for games and sport with outdoor learning and wellbeing classes being an integral part of the whole school curriculum. Barfield not only has its own forest school but we benefit from having our own outdoor pursuits department, Three Peaks, on site. The boys and girls have weekly lessons as part of our adventure programme and gain confidence by challenging themselves physically and mentally whether on the high ropes courses and quad bikes or through team building activities.
Our small-school feel ensures that strong relationships are the cornerstone of our success, and we take pride in creating an environment where children are encouraged to be children. Barfield pupils leave us not just with a strong academic profile, but with the experiences, skills and memories to allow them to thrive.
